Data Deletion Policy

At PeetyAI, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy outlines the procedures for requesting the deletion of your personal data in compliance with applicable privacy regulations and platform requirements, including Meta and Facebook Developer Policies.

1. Right to Erasure (Data Deletion)

Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal information held by PeetyAI. Once a verifiable request is received, we will delete or anonymize your data from our active systems, barring any exceptions established by law or legitimate business interests (e.g., fraud prevention, compliance with financial regulations).

2. How to Request Data Deletion

You can request the deletion of your data in multiple ways, depending on your relationship with PeetyAI.

A. General Account Deletion (For Retailers & Users)

If you are a registered user of the PeetyAI platform, you may request data deletion by:

• Sending an email to our Data Protection Officer at privacy@peety.ai with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
• Including your full name, registered email address, and store name in the body of the email.

B. Meta / Facebook Activity Deletion (For Connected Users)

If you have linked your Facebook or Meta account with PeetyAI and wish to delete your connected activity data, you can do so directly from your Facebook account settings. Please follow these instructions:

1. Open your Facebook account and navigate to Settings & Privacy.
2. Click on Settings, then select Apps and Websites from the sidebar.
3. Search for or locate PeetyAI in the list of active connected apps.
4. Click Remove next to PeetyAI.
5. Confirm the removal. This action will notify us to automatically queue your linked activity data for deletion from our systems.

3. Deletion Timeline and Process

Upon receiving a valid deletion request or a webhook notification from Meta regarding app removal, PeetyAI will initiate the deletion process.

• Processing Time: We aim to process all data deletion requests within 30 days of receipt.
• Backups: Please note that while data will be removed from our active operational databases immediately, it may take up to an additional 60 days for the data to be completely purged from our secure, encrypted backup archives.

4. Data Retention Exceptions

In certain circumstances, we may be legally required to retain specific types of data for a longer period. Exceptions to data deletion include:

• Financial and transactional records required for tax, auditing, and accounting purposes.
• Data necessary to resolve ongoing disputes, enforce our Terms of Service, or comply with legal obligations.
• Anonymized data that can no longer be associated with an identifiable individual.
